Application: EveryAlarmEX (万能アラーム) / Package name: jp.increase.EveryAlarmEX
Effective: 13 August 2026 / Last updated: 13 August 2026

Summary: EveryAlarmEX stores your alarms, timers and stopwatch results only on your own device. The developer does not collect personal information such as your name, email address or phone number, and operates no server, so your settings are never sent to the developer.

The app shows advertising through Google AdMob, which means the Google Mobile Ads SDK runs inside the app. See “4. Advertising (Google AdMob)” for what that involves.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in EveryAlarmEX (Japanese name: 万能アラーム; the “App”) and on this website. “We” refers to the developer of the App.

2. Information the developer collects

We do not collect personal information from users of the App. The App has no sign-up or login, and we operate no server.

The following information is saved as files in the App's private storage area on your device, and is never transmitted to us:

  • Alarm times, names, repeat conditions (days of week, dates, holiday rules) and enabled state
  • Snooze settings, alarm sounds, volume and other ringing settings
  • Timer settings and stopwatch results
  • Names, coordinates and radii of places you add for place conditions (see section 3)
  • Cached public holiday data and general display preferences

Uninstalling the App removes this information from your device.

3. Location data

The App offers a place condition (geofence) feature that changes how alarms behave when you enter or leave a place you have chosen. Location permission is only needed if you use this feature.

Purpose

Location is used solely to determine whether your device has entered or left a place that you registered yourself.

How it is handled

  • Detection runs entirely on your device, using the Android Geofencing API and Core Location on iOS.
  • Location data is never sent to our servers — we do not operate any.
  • We do not record or store a history of your movements.
  • Location data is not used for advertising and is not passed to the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
  • The only location-related data stored on your device is the name, coordinates and radius of the places you added yourself.

Background location

To detect entering and leaving a place while the App is not open, Android may use background location permission (ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION) and iOS may use the “Always” setting. Both are used only for the detection described above.

If you decline

If you do not grant location permission, or revoke it later, everything except place conditions — ordinary alarms, the timer and the stopwatch — continues to work. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free, and advertising covers the cost of running it. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC, and the App includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

  • Ad formats: banner ads and interstitial (full-screen) ads
  • Ad provider: Google LLC (AdMob)
  • SDK included: Google Mobile Ads SDK

To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use information such as the following. This is handled by Google; we do not separately obtain, view or store it.

  • Advertising identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID)
  • Device information such as model, OS version, language and screen size
  • IP address and the approximate area inferred from it
  • Ad impressions and interactions

For details about Google's handling of this information and your options:

  • Google Privacy Policy
  • How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
  • AdMob & AdSense privacy and messaging help

Ad personalisation: on Android you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads under Settings > Privacy > Ads.

Tracking: the App does not present the iOS AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) prompt. It does not obtain the IDFA, does not link collected information with third-party data, and does not share data with data brokers.

5. Advertising consent

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, consent is obtained through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). The App does not request ads until the consent state has been resolved.

Where applicable, a “Privacy settings” entry appears in the App's settings screen so you can review or change your choice at any time.

6. Public holiday data

Holiday conditions use public holiday data from the Nager.Date public API (https://date.nager.at).

  • Only a country/region code and a year are sent. No names, device identifiers or location data are transmitted.
  • Responses are cached on the device to keep requests to a minimum.
  • As with any network request, the API provider may log general connection information such as your IP address.

7. App usage information and analytics

The App contains no analytics or usage-measurement SDK of our own. Information about which screens you open or which features you use is never sent to us.

For apps distributed through Google Play, Google Play itself compiles statistics such as install counts. These appear in Google Play Console in aggregated form that does not identify individual users, and are not collected by us.

8. Crash information

The App does not include a crash reporting SDK such as Firebase Crashlytics. We do not collect crash reports ourselves.

On Android, if you have enabled the sending of usage and diagnostics data in your device settings, crash information may be sent to Google Play (Android vitals), where we can review problem trends in a form that does not identify individual users. Whether this is sent remains under your control in your device settings.

9. Permissions the app uses

The main Android permissions used by the App, and why:

Permission Purpose
Exact alarms
(SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM)
To ring at exactly the time you set.
Notifications
(POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
To show scheduled and ringing alarm notifications.
Full-screen intent
(USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT)
To show the alarm stop screen even while the display is off.
Boot completed
(RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED)
To restore scheduled alarms after the device restarts.
Foreground service
(FOREGROUND_SERVICE and related)
To keep the alarm sounding reliably while it rings.
Wake lock and vibration
(WAKE_LOCK / VIBRATE)
To turn on the screen and vibrate when an alarm rings.
Audio and Do Not Disturb settings
(MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS / ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY)
To sound alarms at an appropriate volume and to support scheduled silent-mode switching.
Location
(ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION / ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION)
For place conditions (geofencing). See section 3.
Network
(INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)
To deliver ads and to fetch public holiday data.

Location and notification permissions are requested at the point where the relevant feature is used, and the rest of the App works if you decline.

10. Personal information

As described above, we do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or dates of birth through the App.

If you email us, we use your email address and the contents of your message only to reply and to investigate the issue you raise. We do not use it for any other purpose and do not share it with third parties.

11. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent or otherwise provide user information to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • Information sent to Google LLC by the Google Mobile Ads SDK in order to deliver ads, as described in section 4.
  • The country/region code and year sent to Nager.Date to fetch holiday data, as described in section 6.
  • Disclosure required by law.

The stopwatch sharing feature only sends data when you choose a destination app and share it yourself. Nothing is transmitted automatically.

12. Deleting your data

Because all App data is stored on your device, you can remove it by:

  • Uninstalling the App, or
  • Clearing its data under Settings > Apps > EveryAlarmEX > Storage.

We hold no data, so there is no need to request deletion from us.

13. Children's privacy

The App is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children under 13.

14. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as the App changes or as applicable laws change. Revisions are published on this page, and the “last updated” date above is changed.
